How do I find my coordinates?
In Google Maps, right-click your spot (long-press on mobile) — the coordinates appear first in the menu; tap to copy. Paste them here as latitude and longitude, and the preview updates instantly.
geo: coordinates or a Google Maps link?
geo: opens the user's default maps app (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google Maps on Android) at exact coordinates — best for 'this exact spot' like a parking entrance. A Google Maps place link shows your business card with reviews and directions — better for storefronts. Both are static and free here.
Does it work offline?
The scan itself needs no connection — the coordinates are in the code. The maps app may need data to draw the map, though most cache nearby areas.
