Event QR code generator
Posters get printed weeks before schedules settle. Encode what won't change statically — or use one free dynamic code for the parts that will, and repoint it as the program evolves.
- Static codes for tickets and permanent signage — free forever
- 1 free dynamic code for schedule pages that keep moving
- No scan caps — a thousand people in the lobby is fine
- Poster-distance print-size calculator built in
Frequently asked questions
The event page isn't ready but posters print tomorrow — what do I do?
Create a free dynamic code now: the printed code points at your go/ link, and you set (or change) the destination whenever the page ships. This is the one scenario where dynamic genuinely beats static — and the first one is free forever.
How big should a poster QR code be?
Rule of thumb: scanning distance ÷ 10. A poster read from 2 m needs a ~20 cm code. The built-in calculator does this per design, including your code's actual density.
Can a burst of scans overwhelm anything?
No. Static codes have no server at all — a thousand simultaneous scans is a thousand cameras reading a pattern. Dynamic codes run on edge infrastructure that serves redirects in milliseconds, and we never cap scans on any tier: a million scans costs us about 13 cents, so caps would be pure theater.
